Description
The body has an elongated egg shape, with short flipper limbs, the front limbs are equipped with blunt claws. The entire body is covered with fur, under the skin there is a thick layer of blubber, vascular fat that comprise up to 50% of the body mass. The head is cone shaped with closable ears and nostrils. Seals breathe air but can dive down to depths of 70 meters for food.
Color
The males fur color is dark gray with lighter dots, the female has dark gray dots on silver-gray fur and the young ones are white.
Average size
Bulls 250 cm / 300 kg, Cows much smaller, 180 cm / 150-200 kg
