Description
The animal lacks brain, central nervous, excretory, circulatory and respiratory system, it gets oxygen through the thin skin. The body contains more than 90% water. The jelly like body is bell shaped with numerous tentacles hanging out from the inside. The Moon Jellyfish belong to the plankton family and is not a fish like the name suggests.
Color
There are 4 pale pink or yellow horseshoe-shaped gonads (testes or ovaries) that are easily seen through the transparent bell shaped body.
