Amphibians are cold-blooded vertebrates that are able to live both on land and in water. They breed in water and the aquatic larvae undergo a metamorphosis and develop into the adult form. There are few species of Amphibians in the Baltic Sea area, included in this group are Frogs, Toads and Salamanders.
